about

Sally Bennett Boyington

Driven to write and read by a lifelong love of books

Born and raised in Wisconsin farm country, I've always had a keen sense of place. As a young adult I moved to Arizona and spent more than twenty years there. I traveled the state, exploring on foot, on horseback, by road, and on four-wheel-drive trails once traversed by stagecoaches. I met people from all walks of life and listened to their stories.

Life's adventures took me back to Wisconsin for a time, and I got used to driving in snow and suffering from wind chill. After several Midwestern winters, I moved to Tennessee, where I've been able to accumulate still more experiences in a very different environment.

The many people I've met, places I've been, and adventures I've had are all reflected in my writing.
